Caliban - Another of Prospero’s servants. Caliban, the daughter of the now-deceased witch Sycorax, acquainted Prospera with the island when Prospera arrived. Caliban believes that the island rightfully belongs to her and has been stolen by Prospera. Her speech and behavior is sometimes coarse and brutal, as in her drunken scenes with Stephano and Trinculoand sometimes eloquent and sensitive, as in her rebukes of Prospera and in her description of the eerie beauty of the island.

Meet Abbe! Abbe is 9 years old in the fourth grade at Shades Cahaba Elementary School. This is Abbe's 3rd Shakespeare production. She was seen as a page in Merry Wives of Windsor and Mustard-Seed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, both with the Bards of Birmingham. Abbe is involved in drama at school as well. She has been in several musicals, most recently as reindeer number four in "Elifish and the Slave Rider." Abbe loves to dance, sing in the choir at church and create projects with yarn!
